I know you can’t tell from the status of the blog, but it has been a busy year. In fact waaaay busier than I had hoped or imagined… and that’s a good thing!
This year included dozens of weddings, Bat Mitzvahs, Bar Mitzvahs, family portrait sessions, commercial work…. and the birth of our daughter! I felt like I hit the four corners of the globe from downtown Chicago, to North, West and South suburbs, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, St. Louis and New York City. Outside of a busy schedule, how would you know this? It’s definitely NOT from my blog. It was neglected for sure.
That is going to be my promise to you for the new year. 2012 is shaping up to be the best one yet, and this time I promise to share it with you! It might be just a review of my favorite images, or a sneak peek at a recent happening… but one way or another, posts will be made on a more regular basis.

Last, but most definitely not least, I would like to introduce our daughter, Elise. She was born 8/25/2011. And a big huge note of THANKS to my amazing, beautiful wife, Jenny for her patience, support, love and being the awesomest mom!
I had the great honor and privilege to photograph the temple portraits for Asher recently. Since a lot of temples do not allow photography during the service (but some do!), I photographed Asher at the bima during a rehearsal that was lead by cantor Friedman.
