I am excited to share my images, work, and even bits of my life with you.
My passion is photography. I understand that pretty much every photographer says this. I was fortunate enough to begin shooting when I was about 8 years old or so. I have pretty much shot it all. From weddings to special events to corporate headshots to runway to fashion along with catalog and editorial work. The best part about it, is that I have enjoyed it ALL! It’s a great day to simply grab a camera and just shoot out on the streets of Chicago, deserts of Namibia, the Great Plains, ruins of Tunisia.. the list is endless!
Hiring a professional photographer to visually record your day, bring out the best in your product, or tell your story is a daunting task to say the least. As a client, you are not only looking for someone with the vision and technical competencies you require, but also for someone who is a pleasure to work with. Most importantly, my commitment is to you.
Being a boutique studio, I have the opportunity to get to know my clients. We grab coffee, share meals, and get to know each other beyond a clients/vendor relationship. This is very important because in getting to know each other, I get to learn your personal style above and beyond what you could tell me in an hour consultations, and get to fully understand how you would like your day captured. In getting to know me, you are relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. It’s like a friend is capturing your wedding day.

Spending time with my wife and our dogs… cooking… Caprihina’s on the deck… strong coffee… jalapeño stuffed olives… travel… documentaries… great wine… bike racing… the lakefront… supporting animal rights… Sunday New York Times… anything Apple… a great book…
